Back for a second run on the Black Box stage, bestfriends and playwriting duo Brynn Hensley and Tucker Ransom’s original creation, “Even When We’re Gone: the Musical,” tells a comforting and emotional tale about learning how to cope with emotional destruction you didn’t cause and reaching a place of understanding for the life born from what you thought couldn’t be salvaged. Follow incoming senior Faye Wilson as her family starts a new life far away from her home in Seattle and experience the all-too-familiar world of merciless high school drama and young romance.
With a book by Hensley & Ransom and music/lyrics by Ransom & Nathan Allen, this 2022 production of Even When We’re Gone has taken it’s year-old predecessor and dressed it up in its Sunday best, featuring new characters, storylines, and a collection of brand new musical numbers written specifically for the show!
